This pattern features a combination of easy textured stitch patterns. The top is worked from the bottom up, with the shoulders shaped using Short Rows for a more comfortable fit. The Front and Back pieces are joined at the shoulders.

For the brown sample, we used Woolly Wood in colourway “697”.

For the white sample, we used Woolly Wood in colourway “white”.

Alternative yarn:

6 (7, 7, 7, 8) (8, 9, 10, 11) 13 skeins of Morning Salutation by Kremke Soul Wool (50 g = 110 m / 120 yds) (51% Tencel and 49% Cotton).

NEEDLES

3 mm / US 2.5 circular needle, cable length 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40” for main body.
2.5 mm / US 1.5 circular needle, cable length 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” for ribbing and armhole.

2 mm / US 0 circular needle cable length 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” for the cast-on.

GAUGE

After blocking: 21 sts x 34 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” on 3 mm / US 2.5 needles in pattern stitch in the round and flat.

Gauge is crucial for this project. Please make sure you achieve gauge by changing needle size if necessary. Please note that the piece will lengthen considerably after blocking.
